It may be nothing more sinister than the natural evolution of what was once agricultural land, into a hub of industry. Nothing is for sure, but as Bob Brown, advisor to the RM of Rosser on CentrePort issues said, no one's going to want to drive through an industrial area to walk their dog. And who knows? Maybe if, or when, the city decides to sell the land, those who waged the good fight will get a new park, to make up for the loss. Or, maybe, the park will defy the odds after all.
